Lamp showing the light map of Holland. Where the light emission in Holland is high, the lamp shade is thinner and in places where the light emission is lower the lamp shade is thicker. This results in a variety of light intensity in the lamp shade corresponding with the image you see when you would look at Holland from space during the night. The lamp shade is produced with the Rapid Manufacturing technique in collaboration with TNO and De Hub.
